Jellystone Park in North Java Wins Two Awards for Excellence in Camping Industry

NORTH JAVA, NY (March 10, 2010) – The Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park in North Java, NY, has been recognized with the Entrepreneur of the Year Award by the Jellystone Park franchise system. Award winners were chosen because of their ability to thrive despite the challenging economy, showing large revenue increases while offering a quality product at a reasonable price. North Java also earned the Facility of the Year Award, in recognition of their tremendous growth following the opening of Yogi Bear’s Water Zone and the addition of deluxe cabins. The awards were presented at the annual meeting of the Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort group.

Situated on more than 100 acres in the heart of Western New York’s Wyoming County, the Camp-Resort boasts 250 sites, ranging from premium 50-amp pull-through sites to rustic tent settings. The park also offers a variety of rental options from trailers to cabins to chalets. For the 2010 camping season, the park is adding a Pedal Kart and Bicycle Track, as well as a Pet Park for guests’ furry friends.

Campers also will be busy on land with mini golf, pedal bikes and horseshoes; beach volleyball, basketball and a giant play field; a game room, three playgrounds and golf cart rentals.
