Jellystone Park in Niagara Falls Wins Award for Excellence in Camping Industry

Niagara Falls, ON (March, 2007) - The Amadio Family, owners of the Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in Niagara Falls, has been recognized with the "Maple Leaf Award" by the Jellystone Park system. The award is given to a Canadian franchisee for their commitment and dedication to the franchise system. The award was presented at the annual meeting of the Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort group in Cincinnati, Ohio.

"Since purchasing the park in 2004, we've been dedicated to making it a first-class resort, providing a quality and entertaining camping environment for our guests," said Jim Amadio. "It's wonderful to have the franchise recognize our achievements and our commitment to excellence."

Located in beautiful Niagara Falls, the camp-resort runs a direct shuttle bus service to the Falls several times a day and also offers several tour packages. This year, the Camp-Resort will offer larger, pull-through RV and big rig sites that accommodate both 50- and 30-amp power requirements. In addition, water and sewer lines have been replaced and roads widened and re-graded to improve the park's ability to handle big rigs and large RV groups.
