Canyon Lake Jellystone Park Wins Award for Excellence in Camping Industry

CANYON LAKE, TX (March 10, 2010) – Larry and Kim Jones, owners of the Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Hill Country-Canyon Lake, TX, have been recognized as Operators of the Year by the Jellystone Park franchise system.

The Operator of the Year Award is given to the individual or team directly responsible for the day-to-day operation of a Camp-Resort in recognition of excellence in management. Evaluation criteria include customer service, inspection ratings, daily management and business growth. The award was presented at the annual meeting of the Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort group.

“God truly blessed us last year as we were able to flourish despite a season of drought, record heat and recession,” said Larry Jones, campground owner. “We are honored to receive the Operator of the Year Award.”
